On one of our earlier dates, I'll suggest we go and donate plasma together (to help others) and do something together to earn money to spend on ourselves.
While not 100% accurate, they do a fair enough job of screening for STD's.
Plus you get $40 to spend ($20 per person.)

I would only ask someone I was in a serious relationship with, so it would be easier to bring up the subject. But I think anyone should ask, no sex is worth living with HIV/an STD for the rest of your life...

I really couldn't tell you. I never did much of the dating scene. If it concerns you (and it should) on a guess, I would go ahead and ask, or make sure you use protection and still be careful (body fluids aren't just transfered through intercourse.

If the guy was the player type for sure I would ask but I would not advise you to ask a girl...she can take it the wrong way as if you're asking her if she's a sIut and your chances would go kaput!

i never initially asked anybody, like they would tell me if they had something. I'll ask after they ask to appear like im concerned about it all. I had to bring up condoms a few times and i was like damn why'd i do that cause they didn't seem concerned.

I'm not having sex until marriage, but I'd still want my fiance/husband to be tested. So, we'll both do it before our wedding.

It might offend them but do you want to risk your health?
If I was not in a steady relationship and was messing around I would want to know for sure.

yes i would and have asked because you dont know these day what people have . its better to ask then to sleep with them and find out you just signed your life away!!!!

I've never been asked that myself, I just make a point of using protection every time and limiting my amount of partners.
