I just purchased some chamomile and my cat is going crazy smelling it. I was wondering if it could hurt him or not. I know there are a lot of plants out there that animals can't have and I want to be sure. Thank you for all of your help.

chamomile will not hurt your cat. Try sprinkling a little over his food when you feed him. He will probably sleep a little more than usual (lol) but nothing more. :D

I have been feeding my cat chamomile tea and it seems to calm him. He has been very aggressive and hyper active since I got him a few months ago. He is just now one year old. I make it into a very weak tea and put it on his canned food. He is just so different, I hope it lasts for him.

I don't think it would hurt him, it is a simple herb that just relaxes people. But if you want to be on the safe side, I would go get some Catnip, which will have a similar effect on your cat, and he will love it. It is an herb that can probably grow in your garden, and it makes cats act like they are high, you can probably find it in any petshot.
