I think you can spend a little of your 24,000 points on a sandwich for me !!
Not that I need it, but I'm tryin to be 'tolerant and understanding' and I think the wealth should be spread around equally whether I earned it or not !! Smile !!

Patriotism is not defined by blind faith. When we support what we believe to be right, and question what we believe to be wrong, that is being a Patriot.

No- it's ignorant. President or not, he's still human, and therefore, capable of making bad descisions. Why would you willingly follow an idiot off a cliff just because he's the one in charge? What would you do with yourself when the boss changes and things go in the other direction? You've got a mind of your own so you can think for yourself, and figure out for yourself what's right and wrong. You shouldn't blindly follow anyone.

I don't have "blind faith" in George Bush, I have agreed with his decisions so far and will continue to do so until he does something I seriously do not agree with. Blind faith in the President is not patriotic, respect is.

Blind faith should only apply to having it in your God. Education on any polictical matter is needed to separate the wheat from the chaf on any side of the Political spectrum. The word patriotic is bantered about quite a bit. There are about as many defiitions for that as there are opinions of what it is.

No. There's nothing wrong with having faith, however, blindly following someone is certainly NOT a good idea and not patriotic. Supporting your country is.

I don't have any faith in the president.
My faith is in God alone since he is the only One who can be trused. And he is the only One with the record of getting anything done.
As far as patriotism, I respect the flag..

No, but we have to give the President some leeway. There are information that the President has, that for security reason, the average American is not entitled to know. The President is playing poker with the rest of the world. Its not good if he has to announce all his cards. Personally, I hate President Bush, but it has nothing to do with the war. Thereare reasonable reason why we might still be in Iraq or went to war against Iraq.

Of coarse not, BUT the respect and faith in the democratic form of government to me is. I don't believe in assassination, political or physical, rather I voted for the president, (or any other elected official) or not. I will pull this one or that one out of office with my vote.
