I come from a town of lots of Pot...and Weed. I dont know how to avoid it. HELP!?

I come from a really small town.
Allthough I have a very stable group of friends that mostly dont go anything Allmost everyone in my school does some kind of drug. I really dont want to. I know I am going to have alot of peer pressure and stuff but I have no want or need to do it. First of all my parents would become really depressed and sad if I did because they care about me alot. Second of all I get addicted to things REALLY REALLY easly. I am going into highschool next year and allmost everyone has at least tryed it but I really dont want to even try. I dont care if my friends smoke it... but I dont want to but I am afraid if I will be labeled as a chicken or a looser. HELP.

Just say no. You forgot the most important reason, it can ruin your life. Try getting a part-time job or try new activities. Get good grades so you can go to college, trust me their is a great big world outside of your town.

Keep busy with your own things: keep to yourself.

If people persist, play their game ... Tell them you smoke a lot of weed, but it is at home, growing under a growth light.

Whenever anybody offers it to you, say no. But to save face ... tell them you are so high that you can't handle any more. ...

... Tell they you have to go home, smoke a bowl with your bro and sis, then study. - that might be a good excuse to get away from them.

Sometimes you have to speak other people's language, to get them to leave you alone.

They will leave you alone.

choose to be different from the rest...as a counsellor i can tell you there is alot more behind the addiction to pot than is readily known....don`t you want to be in control of your life...be smarter than the others....you will be able to leave town soon enough.
