how can he still ne here, week after week since Paul Kim left, good singers have been getting voted off, now Chris Sligh, the funniest guy, my favorite gets voted off. India stop voting for sanjaya, cuz in case you haven't noticed, HE CAN'T SING!!! And this is American Idol not Indian Idol, why can't they watch and vote for Canadian Idol or The X Factor, ugh, Simon even said that if Sanjaya won, he would quit, something is illeagal about this compitition, doens't he even have enough common sense to drop out himself????

Truth is, what Sanjaya lacks in talent, he makes up for in savvy. He's milking this and will probably have a career out of it.

OH man, remember he was the favorite one in very start and really nice person with some talent, and actually care when other voted out instead of him. Now he is all turned around making our favorite show up side down. If he try he can sing thats for sure but for God knows what reason he keeps thing low keep making fun of him and his country. and Even worse... he is still there whle good singers are keep kicked out which really hurts everyone.
Than there are a lot of Indians live there and they seems to taking it personally and keep voting him to keep him up there. He should have leave now he and his country mate not setting a very good example after getting a very wonderful once in a lifetime opportunity to sharp himself and bring Indian music to such high level. But oh.. well. Sanjaya breaks our hearts. His sister can sing and -move- better than him.
People keep calling him 17y/o guy... So we have another 17 y/o right besides him and doing extremly well and actually improving for winning. We had 16 yearold last year extremly super class. I guess 17years age is not valid to make funny style funny noises and specially funny hairstyle.
I dont like him talk back to Simon now

Not that I'm a huge fan of his or anything, but his performance on Tuesday was NOT the worst. Don't worry..he'll be done once the bald dude and the girl that butchered "True Colors" are gone. Chris was funny, but it's not a comedy show (besides he really hasn't been that funny lately anyways)
I do find it curious though that the judges stopped being overly critical of Sanjaya. I think Simon is starting to see dollar signs.

sanjaya is there because people like him. obviously someone has to be voting cuz if they werent he wouldnt be on the show. sanjaya and haley need to get off american idol because they are ruining the show!!

He's still there because he doesn't something weird every week and people want to see what his hairstyle will be next week. And Chris Sligh was a cool guy and funny, but he wasn't really that good of a singer.

The producers want him there. What would we be discussing about the show right now if it wasn't about Sanjaya? He may last another week or two.
BTW: I don't know how people in India could possible be voting. It is an 866 number only available in the US.
