When pregnancy occurs, the cervix will rise up and become soft, yet the "os" will remain tightly closed. This occurs at different times in different women. Some women may find that twelve days after ovulation their cervix will do this and is a probable pregnancy sign. Others won’t experience this until well after the pregnancy has been confirmed.

So I guess the short answer is, it's different for every woman!

The whole cycle takes ONE month...28 days if you are regular.
I will use my cycle for an example ---- I run 28 days I had my cycle 3/3...I should have ovulated 3/18-3/21 for most fertile days and then cycle again on 3/31...if conception did not happen my AF would come....if it did the cervix is already closed! It closes when implantation occurs.
