any suggestions on cheap laptops (under 700)
I need a hard drive of 60GB or more
and perferably Windows Vista
i do a lot of multitasking
and media stuff
so good graphic display is important to me too

You are better off with WinXP than Vista. Vista eats memory like a teen athletic eats pizza.
Lots of laptops for under $700. Just shop around online. Sadly it's hard to find a WinXP machine any more. What did they do with all those machines in February???

Toshiba has really good prices...but just search up on google "lap top rebates." Office Depot, Circuit City, and CompUSA usually have good sales too, but if you want a more depandable brand, go with dell.

tigerdirect.com, they have alot of refurbished laptops with those specs for that little $. the site is updated daily so keep checking for new items. Dont get windows vista! xp is still the nost stable os...aside from apples tiger
