And then when you read the story, you learn that a "memo" was written by a General, warning of a "strong posibility" that Tillman was killed by friendly fire. Then it says "There's no evidence" that said memo ever made it to the White House.

No, there's no media bias.....nope.....none.

Heh..yeah, I noticed that too.

The "unbiased" news media does tend to put what liberals want to hear in the headline.

The White House response will be:

1) Using the Gonzales/Sampson system -"I do not recall seeing that memo."
2) Democratic plot to overthrow Democracy and help the terrorists.
3) He was a volunteer so not our problem.
4) Better that than being sent to Walter Reed.
5) Pelosi is a Nazi San Fransiscan.
6) Karl Rove had nothing to do with this.

- this is the problem with Dullards - the utter predictability.........

it is an fairly good question. Rumsfield, Cheney, and Bush, interior 24 hours of the 9/11 attack, were discussing with correct brass motives and, to come across a justification for invading Iraq. it really is not the protection rigidity's position to question the plans of their commander in chief. it really is the protection rigidity's way, and, given diverse situations, we ought to consistently be appreciative. correct brass, such as then Sec'ty of State, Colin Powell DID propose Bush that "if we invaded Iraq, we would own it for 30 years". Ther DIA (the protection Intelligence company) DID haven't any strong information testifying to WMD's or, an energetic software, Iraq had in position, and, CIA experts felt a similar way. fact is, the White domicile merely left out any voices, did not even ask, that felt Iraq posed no intense danger to usa. Bush, Rumsfield, and Cheney, very almost singlehandedly, were given usa into Iraq. vanity, stupidity, and a blind media, extremely screwed this one up.

Actually, the headline said "General tried to warn Bush on Tillman"

"I felt that it was essential that you received this information as soon as we detected it in order to preclude any unknowing statements by our country's leaders which might cause public embarrassment if the circumstances of Cpl. Tillman's death become public," McChrystal wrote on April 29, 2004, to Gen. John Abizaid, head of Central Command.

That statement is totally false, I was in the military for 20 years and know better.

Generals don't send memos to the president each time someone is killed. That is ridiculous.

Fratricide happens alot more than people know. Most of it is not reported or even known. If you are in the middle of a battle, you can't just call Time Out to check to see who shot at someone. Especially at night, however we do have more ways to try to confirm if someone in front of you is the enemy or not. But stuff does happen and that is just part of war.

An example of the extreme idiots from both ends of the spectrum:
Rosie, on national TV, among other assnine, anti-Bush, hate filled rhetoric, says 9/11 was pretty much staged and there's a huge cover up involved - nothing is printed, no coverage - nothing.
Ann Colter uses the word "gay" and it's front page news for days on end.
Yeah, for sure, no bias in the media.
