alot of people are selfish and are agrivating

I s'pose if you whine a lot, always demand things your way and never give anything in return, you're being selfish.

The reality is that more people than you imagine, are not nearly selfish ENOUGH. The very word "selfish"has gotten a bad rap. If we took more time, and paid more attention to taking care of our own s elves and our needs, on down the road we would be needing a whole lot less of other people's time, effort and trouble that goes into rescuing us from the consequences of our own self neglect. Just one example: We neglect ourselves, and don't take the proper amount of care to ensure that we preserve our bodies in the best possible health. We smoke; drink too much, eat junk, and then the hospitals are filled with people taking up the time and skills of nurses and doctors who have to treat us for our heart attacks, and cancers, and all kinds of other problems we never should have got in the first place. Their services, and professional attention could have been better directed towards caring for, and healing those who are sick through no fault of their own.
If we were more selfish, there would be millions less man-hours each year lost because we have to take that time off work recovering from all kind of sicknesses, great and small, that could have been avoided. The equation is simple; when you get yourself into a situation where you can't tote your own load, society is obligated to tote if for you. It takes a whole lot less effort to fall into a hole than it does for others to come along and haul you out of one. But with a bit more self-care and diligence, we could easily avoid falling into that hole in the first place.

Why would you want to do that? All you're doing is sinking to their level. Find yourself some new friends.

most people that are selfish are not happy, do not go there
