I had a best friend who was a boy and we had so much respect for each other that we never looked at one another like that. He was my friend and I loved him as a brother and I still do but things just change in life being married and having four children is not the same any more but ones in a while we talk to see how we're doing. But they say that's the way to a good relationship. Talk to her she might be shocked by your change of heart. How long have you known each other? When did you start becoming interested? When you met her were there more then feelings to it? did you meet her just to be close to her or to stand by her as a friend? You got to look at all this things to make sure there's no mix feelings here because the last thing you want to do is ruin a good relationship. She may love you allot but not to go any further find out what you want to tell her be careful you don't want to make a mistake. if you went out with her in what intentions do you think she went out with you? You might of had another idea but in her mind it might of been pure innocence.be careful how you approach her and make sure you know what your doing because you can loose a good thing in your life and will it be worth it? Another thing you can do is tell her you apologize for disrespecting her and acting foolish how can you ruin a good friendship between the two of you,see her reaction tell her in person read body, face impressions even though you don't mean not one word of it your pretty much testing her if she likes you the way you do you'll know off the back but if she says that's "o.k or what ever, dont worry, I dont mind", then you better find it it in your heart to really mean what you just said cause you don't want to loose her as a friend get it?
Good luck you never know she might tell you" I had a nice time and dont mind doing it again." that's what you want to hear.

Do you know, for sure, that she only likes you as a friend? If you don't know, and you NEED to find out you could either ask her friends (if you know they won't tell her) or you should just be forward with her. Don't go all"gooie" with her just tell her how you feel and why.
Also, consider if you really, really like her or if you are just attracted because you spend time together and exchange "I-love-yous". You don't want to loose a friendship just because. If you figure out that you just like her because you spend too much time with her go ahead, go out on dates.
Success!

Friendships last much longer. I read a book where a very wise person said friendships are like Toostie Pops. If you bite into them, they don't last long at all, but if you slowly lick it, they last forever. Don't bite into this Toostie Pop. Be glad that you guys are really great friends. Over time she might change her mind.

if u tell her too much and if your that close she could use it against you if you do ask her and then break up because that's how any girl is even if she is your best friend! so maybe you should think about this and your dignity! and this might ruin your friendship so if i were you i wouldn't but follow your heart!!!!

"If I told you that, I wanted to see you, and if I told you that, I'd beg to please you, if I told you that, what would you say? Now tell me how you'd fell if I told you that I have feelings for you? Would it be so wrong to say what's on my mind? I'm sorry I have to. We were friends, but in time, what I feel deep inside for you has changed. But I'd give up on love if I thought that it was untrue, cause I don't want to have to choose between two of the most precious things to me....."

Find a way to be sure of her feelings. If she doesn't see anything more than a friend in you, then it's not wise to go down that road.
