I have this situation quite often: 1) sell Cd's and DVDs to retailers that will give you cash; 2) List items on eBay for a 2day auction and require immediate payment; 3) Do you have gift cards or merchandise credits to stores?- sell them on a 24hour auction on eBay (guaranteed to sell) and require immediate payment; 4) sell prom dresses and name brand clothes to shops that will pay you cash on the spot; 5) return items to stores if you have you have the tags on (even if you don't have the receipt you can get a credit and then refer back to #3); 5) payday loans ( I don't suggest it but as a last resort this can work)

There are legal ways and illegal ways to get it. Which one do you prefer?
Illegally, selling your passport and driver license, rubbing, cheating from others, or stealing from others are the horrible things you can do with serious consequences. Inpersonating someone and tell a fake story about how bad you need the money with a trustable reason, post it on the web and ask for donation. It's also unethical, similar to the ones who pretend to be a victim of stolen wallet at Port Authority and bag for money.
In general, victimize others can easily earn you the $800.
On the other hand, you can easily be a victim if you try to make fast money, like the idea of making $800 in 2 days.
Applying for a loan, from private party, or from a bank, making a balance transfer can help you to get $800 in 2 days, but not during the weekend. These are the quickest way to make fast money but still has consequences, i.e. high interest rate, You'll be in deeper trouble then before. Unless you try this, call all the bank where you have credit cards and ask if they have a promotion of balance transfer. Sometimes, you may find 0% or very low interest rate for balance transfer (borrowing cash from credit card) for 6 months.
If you have an average credit rating with your credit history, you should be able to get quick money without paying 18% or 22% of high interest.
If you don't have a credit card, there is another way to get legal money quickly from your bank. If you have a checking account, you can also call up your bank and ask they you can have an extra credit line for bounce check protection. I have account with HSBC, Chase Bank, Citibank and they all allow such kind of credit line. Once they check your credit with their credit department, you can write an $800 check to yourself and activate that credit line. You just have to ask about the interest rate applied, usually this kind of interest will be calculated on a daily basis.
At last, depending on your skills and ability, you can trade in your service or belongings for cash. For example, advertise your service (e.g. babysitting, house cleaning, tutoring students, driving school kids to and from school for working parents) on internet (e.g. craigslist.org ), by flyers in the neigborhood and calling up all your friends and relatives. Asking for a monthly service fee upfront is possible after signing a monthly service agreement with your client.
Don't try to sell stuffs on ebay because it will take a long time for you to get the money. The fastest way to get money is sell a monthly service and it's legitimate way to charge the tuition or "downpayment" upfront, just like asking your client to pre-pay the fees for your service.
Selling stuff in a short time will always lower the value of your belongings. Places like pawn shop will usually give you a small percentage of the true market value of any valuables. If you want to sell any valuables, like collectable items (stamps, coins), like base ball cards, jewelries, expensive watches, PDA, ipod, computers, you should only sell them directly to clients you found in your neighborhood, friends and family circle, school mates, co-workers, or strangers from http://newyork.craigslist.org/ which is fast, cheap, and have direct contact with client to get the trade done.
Selling your car is another way to get $800 fast.
