Personally , i feel that England should approach a different style of play.

It has somehow or rather been proven that in this last 10 years, the England Team has achieve little success and I think that bringing Beckham back or not is not critical. The manager should keep in view the contribution that Beckham is able to provide and to think of ways to better improve their game.

Football is played as a team of 11 , not Beckham . Gerrand or Rooney's single man show.

Definitely not.

Since he relinguish his Captaincy after World Cup 2006, there is no place for him in team. No manager will allow a ex-captain who is past his prime to return to the team, and upset the others.

John Terry makes a good captain (so is Steve Gerard), and there is no shortage of up and coming youngsters who should be given a chance to play.

Yes the England team has failed to shine in recent games, but bring back Beckham is not a solution like some suggested.

In short the England team can do without Beckham.

All these people saying no, but honesly i think england should bring breckham back, fro what they are doing now they need all the help they can get, even if it means winning games with free kicks, lampard and gerrard are both good at free kicks, put the issue is lampard does not play well for england as he does with chelsea. if you think about it, the only reason England got that far in the world cup, even though it wasnt FAR FAR, was because of Beckhams free kicks.

Its not that i like beckham, i disliked him after he left Manchester United.

I think most people missed it with this question. Yes we should bring him back to the England squad.

Personally I believe that he may have lost a SLIGHT amount of the talent that made him such a great player. However, England is currently lacking passion for the game. Very few of the players (Gerrard excepted) seem to REALLY want to play for England. So even if he is only 99% of the player he was, the leadership he would bring to England would be priceless.

Plus can you imagine how much relief and desire to play his recall would bring to the squad. We need him. No doubt. If we had a better captain then we wouldn't, but unfortunately we don't.

Will he make a difference? I think England can do good without him, or at leat they should, David Beckham was not the only player in the team they (the team) should learn to work together without Becks....
Right now England is playing so bad that I don't think it will make a difference, what they should do is get a new manager...

I have never been a great Beckham fan but I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be in the sqad.I do think that in important games we should play those that seem proud to wear the England shirt and that doesn't apear to be Ferdinand and Rooney at this moment in time.

Of course , No !

He has played unacceptable since last World Cup and far far away from "DAVID BECKHAM" known in Man Utd.

I think he is better to continue being a Model.
