Not sure the context of the question. There was a religion in the late 19th century called Koreshanity founded by Cyrus Teed. He founded a utopian community in southwestern Florida. Like most such communities, this one failed.

There was also a David Koresh who led the Branch Davidians who had a community in Waco, TX. Many remember the Waco incident during which the Branch Davidian compound was overrun by the FBI, killing many inside.

Kouroush is an English way to write a Persian name that is typically written in English as Xerxes. Xerxes (Kouroush) was the grandson of Cyrus the Great who led the Persians in their "victory" at Thermopylae.
