Total hours = 4*8 +12+13= 57

So amount earned is 40*24 + 17*36 = $1572

Per Diem = 6*30 = $180

mileage per day is .405*140 = $56.70
mileage for six days is 56.70*6 = $340.20

Total gross pay is $2092.20
Net pay after taxes is .88(2092.20 = $1841.14

a) (4*8)+(12*1)+(13*1)=57 hours
b) because the person worked more than 40 hours:
(40*24)+((57-40)*(1.5*24))=
$1572
c) (6*30)+1572=$1752
d) 70*2*.405=$56.70
e) ((1752+6*56.70)/6)*(1-0.12)=
$306.86
-If I understand the question, you're looking for the average take home pay per day? If so, then $306.86.

Hi.
8*4+12+13=57 (total hours)
57-40=17 (overtime) (24*40) + (17*(24*1.5)) (pay for the hours)
(pay for the hours) + (30*6) = (Total pay)
(70*2) *.405 = (mileage pay)
(Total pay) plus (mileage pay) = (weeks pay)
(weeks pay - (weeks pay* .17) = (Take home pay)
Tired, you do the math, OK?
