Pain began a week ago, it hurts to take in a deep breath, it is unbearable to lay down and try and rollover. The pain feels as if someone was pulling everything apart inside. The Ct scan showed a spot in my liver and a cyst on an ovarie but the pain is where my gallbladder used to be. The surgeon is referring me to a pain specialist and I am having an MRI next Thursday. What can I do to try and relieve the pain, I am taking pain killers but I am afraid to get addicted to them. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

it could be infection but it might be something left inside from your surgery like a sponge or whatever you should go to the er and have them do xray or whatever and make sure theres nothing that got left behind people think its funny its not it can kill you good luck.dont wait!

It is probably an adhesion or scar tissue, which can be removed with surgery.
