Rich Dad Poor Dad says at least one important thing. Stop buying things that cost you money in the long run (the sweet car which you spend insurance and maintenance on, the ipod which you buy music for, the big screen tv which eating up time that you could have spent developing a business plan...these are things that do not earn money for you. To get rich, you need to learn to spend on things that will profit you. Example: Buy the supplies you need to start your own business, save money to buy a house/apartment and become a landlord (much more iffy idea, if you ask me). While the book is slim on content and long on story, that one idea was strong enough to propel the book to bestseller status. So, really, if you want to be rich and successful, maybe you should figure out how to write a similarly alluring book as Rich Dad, Poor Dad!

Rich Dad Poor Dad. By Robert Kyosoki. This book has helped my husband open and expand his business over this past year while THINKING OUTSIDE OF THE BOX. It's great. There is an entire series of the books. Getting rich and staying rich. He even has a Rat Race Game. Which is much like Monopoly. Great fun. Look into it. Really. Good Luck.

There are many books on that topic. Go to any large book store in your city and you should find something that interests you.
