Lied about what? His shoe size, his favorite color, what he likes to eat....maybe you should put some thought and insight into your question. The mind is a terrible thing to waste.

That is a difficult question to answer.
Stranger yet is that we backed these leaders, supported them, gave them WMDs, even Iran's Naval capabilities are a gift from us. I was stationed Great Lakes for a time and so were the Iranians. Because we were infidels we were not permitted to talk to them, how accomadating is that?
When Iraq was invaded by the United States it seemed to me that we were actually there to check Iran and it's pals from overzealous ambitions. In other words, oil is a Strategic Interest of the United States.
And lo, now Iran is in the picture. Of course there is Israel which is mighty concerned, for good cause, about being wiped off the face of the planet.
So, our government will always lie to it's people because you are of no signifiicant worth. Like Francis Powers U2, we stated that the heathen godlless russians shot a stray weather plane down, I mean, why lie?

A politician lie? Really? Could it be possible? There WERE WMDs in Iraq, everyone, including all the dems who have since shut up about this point, said so before the invasion. Artillery shells containing mustard and sarin gas, like those used on Iran and the kurds, were found in 2004. Saddam's vice air marshall wrote a book explaining how more WMDs were loaded onto a 747 and 727s and shipped to Syria. 13 years of ignoring UN mandates was long enough, Saddam had to go. And now Iran has no excuse for having a navy, time to fix that for them.

OK Republicans lies, Democrats goes to terrorist countries. We the people are stuck somewhere in the middle. Neither side really cares about We the People in order to form a more perfect union. This is a thing of the past I think. I don't need drugs to understand this.

I know I really couldn't sleep thinking about the possibility of air raid sirens and bombs launched from all of Iraq's massive military presence. Thank God we were saved by our quick acting commander in chief or we would all be speaking Arabic by now.

We had the justification to take Saddam out simply because he refused to keep his part of the cease fire.
