Self consciousness is an acid that bites into your eyes and soul and never lets you see things as they really are. Cut that out.

If it stands out, then yes it will be well noticed but that doesn't necessarily make the whole physical appearance ugly. You said the person has perfect teeth and beautiful eyes. The beautiful things can certainly cover ugly features. In addition to that, if the person has a great personality, the nose simply disappears.

Well, let's consider some people who have what some in society might consider physical flaws:
Owen Wilson's nose (it was broken when he was younger, now it sets him apart and gives him a distinctive look)
Barbra Streisand's nose (perfect teeth, beautiful eyes)
Steve Tyler's mouth (large in size, but oh, can he sing!)
Harrison Ford's facial scar (his face wouldn't be the same without it!)
Adrian Brody's nose (it kind of covers the screen til you get used to it, but then you forget about it and enjoy his acting talent)
The point is, let it stand out! It is one of the things that make you unique. Most people are far from perfect and have something they would change about their appearance if they could, but all the people above prove that it is talent and accepting oneself for who they are that wins the race in the long run.

You have probably heard "Beauty is only skin deep, but ugliness is to the bones". True beauty comes from inside not the outside (appearance) The character and personality is more important than looks. If you have both, well that is great but in this day and age is rare. I'm sure you've met "drop-dead gorgeous" people with no substance and average looking people with Great character and personalities. Great wine can be be in any bottle.

The imperfection will only be hideous to a vain person. People who look at other People from the inside sees no hideous imperfections on the outside. It's who you are from within that makes you, ugly.

Barbara Streisand, Cher, Sarah Jessica Parker, Katherine Hepburn...to name a few...would disagree with you. It's the inner beauty that makes the difference. Besides that, in this day of cosmetic surgery on every corner, people with perfect good looks are assumed to be artificial. An imperfection makes the face interesting and gives it character.

Things that are different stand out before common things. For example, if you only have one eye, people will notice, even if the remaining void has flawless skin, and the rest of you, and your lonely eye, are gorgeous.

But, that only covers initial encounters. Once that's done and over with, things proceed as normal.

NO; nice eyes and teeth are noticed first; so much happens to peoples noses they are not noticed as much.but when you can afford it get a nose job. they are done often [because so much happens to them] and not very expensicve. Dekalb hospital in atlanta Ga is a good place if you are near there.

No. One, or numerous flaws does not nor can not make one "ugly". The only aspects of humanity which is or CAN be ugly is who and what they are on the inside!!! Vanity can be ugly regardless of how "beautiful" someone is or THINKS they are.

To some people. Do what contents you most. If it most suits you, you could go to cosmetic surgeory. If things deeper than looks and appearances matter, like personality and character, then let that be your main focus rather than aesthetics.
