Ok I am a Capricorn. My birthday is Jan. 5th and I know I was born at 11:45 at night. What is my rising? Or like how can you determine what your sun and moon signs are?

The full info needed for an astrology chart calculation is Date (year included), the Time (you have that), and the Place on the planet. That last part is just as significant as the time and date.

There are books on astrology that will actually help you figure that out yourself and give your answer in great detail! I would do it for you, but I lost mine in the move...here is the book I would have used...
