My daughters once messed with a Ouija board and some really weird stuff happened to them. I would never mess with it. We moved into a really old house, it was built in 1904. Ever since we moved in some bizarre activity has occured. I had a famous ghost hunter come in with his crew and all of his equipment. During the investigation we asked about Ouija boards and he said "They are not toys or games and can be very very dangerous. Do not mess with them". That was enough for us to hear. I'm not sure what state you live in, but I would do a search on ghost hunters in your state. Email a few of them and let them know what is happening. They will come to your house for free. If they want to charge you, find someone else. I am 40 yrs old and have never believed in that stuff until I lived with it. It just got too weird to ignore. There was some activity while they were here and they took a picture in my sons room that later showed the face of a man. It was so creepy. We never tried to get rid of it because nothing bad or dangerous happened. Mostly just playful stuff like the faucets being turned on and lights going on and off really fast. I would freak if my bed was shaking. Good Luck.

Many years ago I lived at the Y.W.C.A. and one of the girls had a Ouija Board. She had a lot of scary things happen to her. She took the thing out and threw it in the Dumpster out back. A few days later that board was back on the top shelf in her closet. She again threw it out and it came back again! She showed me! I told her to call one of the Catholic churches because they know about things like that. A Catholic Priest came and picked it up and got rid of it for her. She never saw that thing again. They sell it as a game but it is not a game. Demons can come through those things.Throw holy water on it then they need to be buried, and not just thrown away! My advice get a Catholic Priest involved in getting rid of that thing!

Please be aware that those boards are not toys or games. The things one can conjure up with those boards are very real and very dangerous. Even if you don't believe in the Ouiji boards, that thought process will not stop what will/can happen. Before I tell you how to make it stop, you need to ask yourself one question - Do you believe in God (or Jesus) or a higher power? If not, then you have opened up a world you were a part of and didn't know you were. If so, you have half the battle won. (People might think what I am about to tell you is crazy. But if you really have this problem and really want to get rid of it (them), then you will try this. I have had to do it and it works - but only if you believe in a higher power.)
You and your family can do this together at first (if you are believers). Stand in your room (or wherever it took place) and say to the room "to whomever's spirit I (we) have disturbed, please forgive me, and be gone in the name of Jesus Christ". Repeat this until you have believed something has taken place. And it will. This is not a chant!! It is also not something that will work if you don't have faith it will. If nothing happens, and the strangeness still continues, you will need to have your house blessed. You can go into ANY church, even if you are not a member, and ask them to come and bless your house; and they will. This should remove whatever it was you disturbed.
Remember this: Satan is a very strong Cherrub Angel that was created by God. He is almost as strong and powerful as God - almost. But what this means for us is, alone, without God's help, we are powerless over Satan. Satan tried to tempt Jesus. He lost to Jesus, but still, the nerve. Satan thinks he is greater and more powerful than God, due to us, as a race, putting him first. (Please allow me to be fair here to all of those non-believers: Do you!! I am not judging you for how you feel. We all are free to make our own choices.) We chase money on a daily basis. The sex industry is thriving. Divorce, both adulturous and non, is at an all time high. Murders are up. Drugs are everywhere. Anything that Satan gives us is easy and fun. Have you noticed that anything good for you is usually hard work? Or tastes bad? Or is ugly? Or uncomfortable? Unless it's a gift from God, life is hard work. To try to stay on the straight and narrow is uncomfortable and no fun at all. But for the quick fix, we do things that are "exciting" and "dangerous" to see how far we can push. Sometimes we push too far, and this was one of those times.
I have lived with ghosts, both hostile and non, for as far back as I can remember. My entire family, extended and immediate, have lived with these experiences. Sometimes it was a simple case of the entity wanting us to know she wanted her own space in the house. We gave that to her. We lived there for 7 years. Other times, the entities were not so nice and attempted possessions, physical harm, and actual hauntings. Needless to say, we left after 3 months.
These things do exist. They are no joke. If you are not prepared to deal with what you get, leave those boards alone. You can get yourself into alot of trouble behind those things. Good Luck and God Bless. You're gonna need it.

I used a Ouija Board once when I was a teenager. I was with my mom, bro aunt and a neighbor (woman) that believed in all things spiritual. She asked a seemingly innocent question of the board while my bro & I were using it and it started spelling out all sorts of evil things and the hair on my neck & arms stood on end & the room got very cold! FREAKED ME OUT BIG TIME! Mom put the thing away ASAP & threw it away a few days later... Haven't touched one since ans will not let one into my home!
S--T I just re-freaked myself out again thinking about it!

It has never happened to me as I've never used an ouija board (generally you really aren't supposed to! Please, never do so again.)
You can try to just talk out to the spirits and tell them that they don't belong on Earth anymore, and to go towards the light and to where they belong because they are frightening you.
Please, also note that there is no reason to be afraid. Spirits and ghosts CANNOT harm you.

I totally respect sylvia browne, and she has some things to say about the ouija board. First and most important, they are a portal to demented spirits. DONT use it again, for your own safety. I guess try and tell them to go home, that its your home and they're dead. Good luck!

We were playing with one at a party once. We ask it to give us a sign. The clock chimed 15 times. It was only ten after nine and the clock only chimed on the hour. It freaked us out. Those things are the devil.

First of all, YOU are controlling the Ouija Board - not "spirits". It is actually your mind unconciously guiding the pointer around the board. It is not "mysteriously happening".
I was once convinced that a spirit was in my house, but it was just an overexaggeration. Chances are, your mind is getting the best of you. Once I stopped believing, they stopped happening.
If you won't believe this, then just tell the so-called spirit to leave you alone - firmly.
