Wilt Chamberlain
He was basketball's unstoppable force, the most awesome offensive force the game has ever seen. Asked to name the greatest players ever to play basketball, most fans and aficionados would put Wilt Chamberlain at or near the top of the list. Dominating the game as few players in any sport ever have, Chamberlain seemed capable of scoring and rebounding at will, despite the double- and triple-teams and constant fouling tactics that opposing teams used to try to shut him down. As Oscar Robertson put it in the Philadelphia Daily News when asked whether Chamberlain was the best ever, "The books don't lie." more...

Just look at the stats! Jordan never averaged 40 points per game for a season. Wilt scored at will when asked.

Wilt is the better scorer, but if you would have said all-around it would have been MJ. The reason that wilt was better was beacause when he played he was the tallest person with really long arms. The only person that could stop him from scoring was Bill Russell.

U can't compare these guys. Different eras of basketball.
+, MJ would crush Wilt. Wilt couldn't move, or at least as fast as Jordan.

MJ. Wilt had the natural advantage of being tall while Michael was more of an average size and had to create. Wilt was great but had an enormous advantage due to his body.

A) Your factor is moot on domination pondering Wilt had perhaps 5 gamers close to his calibur. B) Your factor is moot on scoring through fact protection replaced into at that is toughest in MJ's era. C) Your factor is moot approximately rebounding through fact Wilt replaced right into a center, of direction he rebounded greater effective! D) Your factor is improper on passing pondering MJ replaced into one in all of the greater effective passers after whilst critics began troublesome his group skills. E) Michael Jordan scored sixty 9 on the Celtics group that throughout the time of a protracted time went to win a championship that 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, Wilt did this on a collection that replaced into lacking that is beginning middle plus they have been the worst group in the East for 6 years in a row. F) you're saying the taking photos % is yet another factor Wilt dominates Jordan in properly think of roughly it! Wilt replaced right into a pair of foot taller than all and sundry on the floor throughout the time of that era besides invoice Russel! He would desire to easily attain over somebody and lay the ball in. Plus his group gave him the ball on each play whilst he replaced into in large place (I.E. status 2 inches from the ring.) virtually. Jordan worked for his each shot and had some large years. Oh confident and the different element i might desire to show out is that taking photos guards and centers being in comparison in FG% is absurd. A taking photos safeguard shoots from 15 ft away on usual virtually continuously guarded. a center shoots an usual of 5 ft away and is not any longer continuously guarded besides in quickly wreck and good passing via yet another participant. G) MJ have been given diverse protective participant of the three hundred and sixty 5 days awards. If the award were around at Wilt's time he would desire to have gained a million. invoice Russel replaced right into a much greater dominant defender than Wilt and chief as his 11 championships propose. P.S. Lol he FOULED OUT? He replaced into out ill that day, i think it replaced into the flu.
