I feel that the person I was with has this trait. That is why he froze the building society account and the only way we can get money out is if I meet him with my passport. I will not meet him because this is the only way he can control me and I will not be controlled anymore. WELL RID OF HIM. Roll on the divorce.

He has left for a girl the same age as our daughter but he still wants control. Do you understand narcissism? or betrayal?

Please visit my website that deals with psychopathic predators. I will say you are clued in and they hate that. Be very careful until you get a good handle on this personality. Push to hard and they are subject to snap.

Narcissism usually results from low self esteem. His behavior does not suggest Narcissism. It suggests that he wants a say in spending the building society money. Whose money is it? Have you had an honest discussion about this with him?

I sure as hell do. My mom has it and she ruined my entire childhood making me put up with it. Check out these books:
*Children of the Self-Absorbed by Nina W. Brown
*Loving the Self-Absorbed by Nina W. Brown
*The Emotionally Abusive Relationship by Beverly Engel
They should give you some insight. Also look up Dr. Sam Vaknin on the internet. He has a Yahoo! group called Narcissistic Abuse.

A Narcissist is someone who is totally in love with themselves, unless you love them totally they'll have no time for you. If that is what your husband is then you are well rid of him.

Building society account? Perhaps I do not speak your dialect, so follow your heart, do not do anything that makes you uncomfortable.
