Ft/lb and psi are two completely different things.

It doesn't work that way.
Foot pounds is torque.
Pounds per square inch is pressure.

On the other hand, you could mutiply foot punds by 12 to get inch pounds.

multiplied by 12 and vice versa

feet per pounds (the big force)
inches per pound.( the small force)
