Teasers are smaller trailers. They are usually released and give a first-look at the film, to give a hint of what it will look like before shooting begins. These can be released years before a film comes out. Teasers are popular for much hyped movies, like sequels, adaptations, remakes, etc. Nowadays, they are released online first.
Theatrical trailers include actual movie footage and give a glimpse of the film's plot, characters, and possible twists. They are usually released after most of the film is done shooting. These are more of the TV and theatre preview content.

Teasers are like the short film version of the movie and usually dont have voice overs. They are chuck full of music and fast pace goodness. They reserve them for clip shows and inside places like Blockbuster.

A theatrical trailer is the extended movie trailer. It usually tells you the NAMES. That mean actors, directors and producers. You will always get different song bc then they can differenciate them.

Teasers are trailers that are designed to persuade you to see the film. The producers usually broadcast the most exciting scenes in the film and don't prolong the teaser so it captures your interest.

Theatrical trailers are trailers that you would normally watch prior to seeing a movie in a cinema. They are more designed to inform you of the movie and give you an idea of the plot.
