No. The only place I dine alone is in my own house.

Yes, I do...and no, I don't feel uncomfortable. I've as much right to dine there as any couple ;) I figure if I had to wait till I had someone to go out to dinner with, I'd never go anywhere because a lot of the people I know either don't like or can't afford to go out to nicer places. So I go on my own...and sometimes meet new people in the process.

I always try to get a friend or relative to let me take them with me. I will dine alone at a nice place only if I can't buy anyone else dinner to go w/me.

I only dine alone anywhere when it's my lunch hour at work.I tend to like more exotic food than my coworkers,like Thai.I sit at the coffeeshop all the time alone though.I guess it depends on the atmosphere.If it's a romantic place,I wouldn't go alone.

It would depend on the atmosphere. If the restaurant was not very crowded (just a few occupied tables with patrons at their quiet conversations) then I would not feel the least uncomfortable. If it was busy and noisy, then I might feel rather out of place.
