Panama uses the "Balboa", which is equal to one US Dollar.
Panama does not have their own banknotes - US Dollar banknotes are used. Panama does have their own coins, which are the same size, weight, and metallic composition as their US counterparts. In fact, they are struck at the US Mint in Philadelphia.
