The other factor is (x-3).
to get this you divide both 3x^2 and 9x by the greatest common denominator which is 3x.
The 3x goes into 3x^2 once leaving ang x and the 3x goes into the 9x once. The x cancels out and then the three goes into the nine 3 times. So your left with a three.
