why did USSR broke into 16 countries.
what are the factors that let them to withdraw the currency and replace them by new currency.

They actually broke into what Americans call States. They are still beholding to each other, so don't be fooled that they don't have loyalty for one another.

New and proactive leadership. The old guard knew that economic problems have been brewing using the old ways of socialism to manage such an immense area, so they imparted to their successors their probable solutions. It must have been such a complicated solution with a long time line to accomplish.
Whatever they did though, seems to be working. Lots of work ahead but the rest of the world seem to be ok with it. They never get into the news anymore except the news saying how breath taking and beautiful the country is, now that tourism has opened up a few of the historic places that previously were closed to the world.

The ussr went broke fighting in afghanistan for years. This may be the fate of the usa unless we get Iraq over with soon.

Because they were undermined by the CIA and the British Secret Service, now look at the mess the world is in and we were told that the Russians were to blame for all our problems.
Why do we believe the lies we are told and do nothing about it?

The fall of Communism !!!! There are still a lot of racial issues that will take many years to resolve.Ethnic cleansing etc.Kosovo etc
