well I asked a similar question a couple weeks ago only because my mom does foster care. At the time I was completely jealous. Only because I am the only girl in my family and my mom said she wanted another girl. I guess I just felt like I wasn't good enough.She has me why does she need another girl? But now I understand that these children need a safe place to go and a family that loves them. I still find it hard because I'm not use to having a little kid around the house but it's fun to play Barbie's with her and rent movies together. It's fun to show her everything she was missing in her childhood like playing Barbie's and watching movies, painting easter eggs. It does make it worth while when you see how happy she is.

If i were an only child, i would treat him/her as a brother or sister. I would appreciate the moment. I would be gald to have company.

Not sure how i would feel, I think i would have mixed emotions, but the reason that person is with you is because they need you more than you know.
You should treat them like a brother or sister.
I am sure that life was harder for them than it was for us.

i think you should because if you were a foster child you would wasnt someone to treat you just like a normal kid, wouldn't you?

We adopted our first foster child and she was the flower girl in her big sisters's wedding. But she's 14 now!
