What if I were to change my name to Jack Hoff?

Aren't there people who really have that name. I've looked it up in "People Search" and there were several people with that name.

What would people say if that were my name?

You can legally change your name to Jack Hoff. Just remember, the courts may not let you change it back, later….

How about Jack Schidt? Then, when someone says to one of your friends, "You don't know jack s***" they can say,"I do so; he's my best friend."
