I have a male and a female silver molly and more recently, I have introduced two male guppies. They don't bother my platies and danios, but they won't seem to leave the mollies alone. Is this dangerous for the mollies and what can I do to stop them? Thanks for any advice.

2 male guppies and no female guppies???????

you need to get some females in your tank ASAP!!!!! preferable about 4 so that they aren't harassing them to much.......they constantly want to mate and won't leave the mollies alone until you introduce some females for them.

lol i have it the other way round my black Mollie pesters my guppies, it could stress them out if it goes on for to long so my advice would be to separate them, put them into a separate tank if you got one. my mollies however pester my guppies because i have two male mollies and no females i think they are getting a bit frisky, so luckily my sister-in-law is gonna swop a female for my male and hopefully they will leave my guppies alone may you have the same sex too and this is the reason for them pestering the guppies. hope i have been some help. good luck x

It can stress the mollys a bit, but the guppies aren't large enough to do any serious harm. The only way you are likely to stoip it is to trade one of the males back to the store for credit on 2 females.

Probably didn't like one of their questions/answers. Check you tank for thumbs down or violation notices. All Pondlife seemto have this issue.
