The Good Son. Starring Mccauley Culkin and Elijah Wood. It's got depression and psychosis. Good movie and the kids were really cute at those ages.

The Chumscrubber. It's sad, and rather uhm...odd? But the main character is like 17. So not really a child, but it's definatly worth watching.

Donnie Darko , is a great movie you shoud check it out. Kid in highschool with major issues. A troubled teenager is plagued by visions of a large bunny rabbit that manipulates him to commit a series of crimes, after narrowly escaping a bizarre accident
