No baby, I think it is for the modern day mouseketeer who can regionally step up to the plate and live out a thrill of adulation......like playing horses on the playground in elementary school...but I was NOT a horsey girl...i always had my nose in a book...back to karaoke, it is a must for some ...no for many who might like to have that 'shining moment at the Filmore East or West" over and over.....that is my take on it...and there is more where that came from.
You should see my treatise on women who want to date inmates .....lol *wink* (By the way there is such a writing)
By the way I do NOT do Karaoke, i sing and play the guitar, but my brother does...does that count?

For me, karaoke is for never...no matter how drunk I get!! (Although I'll gladly sit and laugh at the others making a fool of themselves! lol)

I think that some people get more courage to karaokee and to make a fool of themselves, when they are drunk!! (including me!) and come on!! once drunk everybody could be a good singer!! and a comedian! too!
