Does high white blood cell count and ovarian cysts have anything in common?

I recently went to the hospital for abdominal pain, and bloating. They did a cat scan which revealed several cysts on my right ovary. They did a pap test and found high white blood cell count with the culture. Can this mean anything in particular? I'm just concerened, I'm only twenty one years old and I'm scared about these kinds of things.

The white blood cells could just be an indication of an infection. I would recommend following up with your gyn to see what they think could be causing all of this and whether or not the cysts and the white blood cells correlate with each other.
