I have been spotting for 3 days, any ideas?

It started 9 dpo and now this is the 3rd day of spotting. Not even enough for a pantyliner, just notice when wiping. Is my period a little early and stubborn in coming, or is this implantational spotting? I usually get my period 13 or 14 dpo. I did have sex the night before I think I ovulated.

How certain are you of the time of ovulating? You don't say which method you are using to track your fertility.

If you are certain it has been nine days since ovulation, that's very early for implantation spotting to occur.

If this is a pregnancy, though, it may have occurred earlier than you think (i.e. you might have ovulated earlier than you think).
