I am 63, and this computer is brand new with me. I tried to answer Merissa's question & messed it up. So I tried to answer it as a question. What button should I have pushed to do it properly?

Computers are hard to learn at first, so take it slow - just relax you're not in a race with anyone. Look at the whole screen before pushing any buttons, if you mess up just press the back button on your browser or call your grandkids, they can help you.

The easiest way to teach kids, math is to use money. Let them earn play $$ and buy prizes with it, etc.

Although money is said to be the root of evil, it is the only thing that puts food on the table and clothes on our backs.

If you can't read, it'll be very difficult to attain skills in math. So I'd say reading is more important.

ask them what they want to be when they grow up. then make them think about it and ask if they have to use math in that. with every job you need math.
