how would you know if you're psychic?

i've always found it quite fascinating because of the controversy surrounding the subject. I've been having some strange dreams lately and then the next day the things that happened in my dream happened in real life. Also I say things for example I wonder when *insert name here* is getting back from shopping and then in the space of 2 seconds to a minute they will get back from where ever they went and just other things like that. thanks

We are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.

I too agree that all of us have the ability or psychic gift to a greater or lesser extent, how we use it or develop it is a private matter. I aired a view as a question in a wrong category two days ago....in Yahoo answers : one simple ability of psychic powers is if your eyelids twitch - right is good for males, left is good for females, when others think good (or positive) of you and vice versa. Try it out you will find you are right most of the time. Even if your eye lids don't twitch any part of your body would do. It means you are reacting to the thought waves of the other person who has strong thoughts of you. But of course some do not have it and that's that.

Hi, Psychic ability is clairvoyance, remote viewing, telepathy, intuition and feeling others emotions. Actually, Tickle.com has a test for this now. I took it and started a poll on my blog to see if it seemed valid.
You seem to have intuition and telepathy.

How do you know if you have this for sure? Keeping daily records of what you feel or think and going back over them is one way to learn if you have this gift. Feedback from other people usually takes place by: how did you know that?

Over the years you may notice dreams and precognition of events happening in your life. At times, animals may even clue you in on this form of communication.

People often refer to this as just plain gut feelings, I knew this would happen or I felt this happening is often said. This kind of like your body telling you things. Pay attention to your feelings and emotions as well.

In astrology, Scorpio, Pisces, Cancer, and Neptune in aspect to the sun, moon, and mercury often give psychic abilities.. Pluto in aspect to the moon and sun may as well.
Planets in the water houses, fourth, eight, and 12th can give intuitive ability as well.

Often Sagittarius may have high intuitive abilities and Aquarius.

The way I found out is 2 places, You look at the big picture and relize everyone has a unique ability that may be consitered psychic and then you look up lists on the internet, I myself am an Empath on the tenth degree.

I understand your curiosity, alot of people do about things that are of the unknown. However, I don't know if psychic should be used it is rather strong, but you could have premonitions, which I have had, and too have came true. Your dreams could be totally different. There are dream books out there that have definitions that you might find interesting.

First of all, everyone has the ability to do this. It is called the sixth sense. You are just normal and if you do not "close" your mind to this then you will develope this sense more and more. When I say "close" all I mean is to not let yourself or others let you think that you are not normal and that this is a very bad thing to happen. well deja vu is always a good tip but i found out i was psychic when i had a dream about my grandmother dying fomr a brain anyrism and i was so freaked out i made her get tested. i saved her life with my dream. the tests were positive. also another time when i had a dream in school - i know sleeping in schjool not a good idea - well my dream was my one teacher yed her hair pinkish red and when i got to the next class i was right she had dark pinkish purple hair.

Things like that happen to me all the time. Most people have some form of latent psychic abilities. With the proper training you can learn how to use them better.... Some have more, some have less....
