Yes it does!! I felt down in the dumps all this dreary winter but the other day when we had 70s and it was sunny out, I was so happy and cheery, I almost felt high!! (Without doing the drugs!!)

Yes lack of sunlight can affect your mood and how you feel physically. SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) is a type of winter depression that affects an estimated half a million people every winter between September and April; in particular during December, January and February.

It definitely does! Do you notice on rainy/cloudy days you might not feel as good as you would on a sunny day? your body needs sunlight for a lot of reasons, just like plants do. it stimulates a "gland" behind your forehead ( your third eye) and gives you that happy feeling. I don't remember the actual word for it but you can look it up.

Yes, in a way. If you woke up in the morning and said "Aw man, it's overcast and rainy" or "YES!! It's overcast and rainy!" Which one do you think will lead you to having a better day? Rainy, overcast days tend to bring people down because it is cold, wet, and can't do much in the rain. Warm, sunny days bring about smiles and energy. But actually, its all in the way that you think. A lot of people prefer a rainy day over a sunny day.

definately for me , if i get to the beach every day and soak in some sunshine, i feel great, more alive, more energetic, more healthier
if i miss a few days, i find myself becoming lethargic and a little depressed.
i know that sunshine soaking into your body gives u a vitamen and also releases in your brain that stuff which i cant think of the word right now, that stuff that gives u happiness and a natural high

Absolutely. I find it a lot easier to feel positive when it's sunny. The sun determines when we wake up (if we don't shut ourselves away from it), causes flowers to bloom, makes it easier to see said flowers and to drive without hitting people (because you can see and the roads are dry), etc. It's not just the light itself, but the warmth and the environmental factors it effects. Bring on the sun. :)

Yes and thats because as we get older we stay indoors alot more, and I know if I stay inside all day I star feeling really down. If I go outside and spend time in the yard or gong somewhere I feel alot better. â¥
