Autism is my obsession.

Is the increase as "epedemic" as many say? (No - but there seems to be a real increase - maybe doubled) http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aqf23RpafI4ci9dZwCVO1Xjty6IX?qid=20070209150055AAwBAy2&show=7#profile-info-mDzRpxtQaa http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhF5JL1Dcy0BirPyKirbVorty6IX?qid=20070204092904AABzrVO&show=7#profile-info-LmCA9ap1aa

Are vaccinations to blame? (Not likely - but can't be totally ruled out) http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Anv3Ej3c0uWeORcTuSlj.8Tty6IX?qid=20061030112239AADnZf8&show=7#profile-info-AA10067421

Is autism inherited? (There is a very strong genetic factor to autism, but it seems a person inherits a vunerability to develop autism, rather than inheriting autism itself) http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AizubAWC8C67sRX8p4G8cnbty6IX?qid=20061207202957AA1y4hD&show=7#profile-info-8751711e28db31f88cb81d405f5d9ed6aa

Is autism more common among any race or other group? (autism is spread pretty evenly among ages & social groups. The only clear demographic predictor I've seen is the age of the father. A child born to a man in his 50s is 9 TIMES more likely to have an autistic child than a man in his 20s!) http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/09/04/AR2006090400513_pf.html

Are autistic people retarded? (Less than 50% are)

Are autistic people always great at something, like math or music? (This is savantism & it is NOT common. But high-functioning autistics frequently have an obsession & become experts in that one area)

Email me with any questions, if you'd like.

First , you have to know your material, then you have to know how to answer questions, because people will ask you questions. All ways note down important notes, words, and be able to explain ever thing you have read. Never give a speech that you did not prepare for, because if you do, it would not be professional, for you and the people who are present. Good luck p.s. the speech should be a topic that you can dominate and like to talk about.

What are your interests? It would most likely be easier on you to prepare a speech on something that you find interesting.

How about the conspiracy about how "The Man" killed Tupac and Biggie Smalls because they were on the verge of a social revolution.... or that they were just thugs that got what they deserved... ;-)
