He visited New Orleans over a dozen and a half times after Katrina hit didn't he?

People who get upset about whether a President visits some place or other are being rather silly. I'd rather the President do something about it, than appear for photo ops. It is the rare case where the President's actual presence at the site of a tragedy is necessary for him to handle it. Usually, visits are just photo ops where he can show that he cares.

That's the purpose of his apology for the Walter Read fiasco. He's the head of the executive department of the government, and so he is stating that the buck stops with him and he's sorry the conditions were so abysmal. That's nice and all, but he should probably direct that the problems be fixed.

hehehehehe............what you folks don't understand, hehehe, is " fool me once, shame on me, fool me again, and uh humm...hehe well you ain't going to fool me again. hehehehe"

you see I didn't visit Katrina untill I was sure the Hurricane was over. 4-5 days later, when I knew all the press was there, and the reason I keep going back is , well, hehehehe, I need the good press. acting like I care and all.

Apologise for Reed Hospital, uh. don't recall that. but I figured, what the heck, sounds like I care so ok.

are the troops just as worthy? abso-tively. why pictures of me puffin my chest and noddin my head and pursing my lips in disgust, just makes my rating SOAR. shoot, I'm up to about 30% now. makes me as famous as Herbert Hoover.

Bush doesn't give a rats a~~ about American citizens or the troops. BTW--if you think about it, Bush spent little, if any, time visiting PEOPLE in New Orleans. Just speeches and photo ops.

Paul, you are once again woefully uninformed.

Bush visited Walter Reed more times than you can count.

The Washington Post article, and following hub bub, was not about the hospital, it was about the buildings in which soldiers convalesced.

Paul, you seem more effective in Singles and Dating.
