Has anyone read Waking Lazarus or The Heir?

What did you think of them? If you haven't read them you really should.

I read "Waking Lazarus".

If I recall it was a little grizzly in places. It was about a man who they thought was dead but he kept coming back to life and then he ended up in a rural community working in a school and killing kids. Not a pleasant subject, but the author did a good job and kept me reading it.
