what about the rest of our VA hospitals that are chronically understaffed and under funded?

It's sad that you are so right. My friend (a decorated Viet Nam vet including 2 Purple Hearts) hasn't been to a VA hospital in 15 years. Like he says-I'm not sitting all day to be told to come back tomorrow.
