I already asked someone, she said yes. But now I really don't want to go. I mainly asked cuz she is the only one that would ever be fun if i did go. I just don't know what i got myself into. I'd rather go bowling with this girl than go to a stupid boring dance. Any input?

Okay I know I am a girl and it's a bit different for us...but I think that you should go to your prom. One of my best guy friends missed out on ours and he really regrets it now. Besides now that you already asked this girl, she's probably already looking for/bought a dress and making plans to go with you that night. If you want things between the two of you to work out whether it be just as friends or as something more, I wouldn't cancel your plans to go with her. If she's anything like most girls she'll be devastated that she's thought about all of the best parts of the night in her head and now she won't get to see them through. Besides prom is a blast!!! I went to two of them and even if you don't dance all of the time there are still plenty of things to do and plenty of people to talk to. I wouldn't miss out if I were you!!!!

Suck it up. This girl is already planning her dress, her hair, her nails.... you'd be the jerk of the school if you backed out of this. Plus, she and her friends would probably not even give you the time of day if you cancel. And, you just may be surprised and have a decent time. After all , your friends will be there. She's a fun person.... think positively ! It's not like you're goimg with some bow wow. Do the right thing, man.

Since prom is a once in a lifetime thing, you should go just for the experience. How about going bowling with her in the afternoon then to the prom at night?

Well since you asked her you better take her. Prom really isn't all it glam out to be, but for most girls its what they wait for. So if you like her take her, cause if you try to back out now she might resent you and that isn't what you want if you want a relationship with her. So what you do is take her to the prom, show her the best time even if you would rather be anywhere but there. Plus if all goes well, they say prom night is a lucky one, if you get my drift. Just go have fun who knows you might really enjoy it.

well, think about it. GIRLS LOVE PROM. hehe so why dont u go? u know, just to make her happy. its an experience u would never have again. bowling u can do anytime, but prom? she would enjoy it, and if u really dont like it then just stay for awhile, dance with her, chat with ur friends and leave! go to a bowling center next hehe
that way, she gets to enjoy her prom, like all girls do, and u get to enjoy ur bowling after! alone with her! now isnt that sweet haha

well ask her to go bowling instead!!!!!! Hang on though, is this a leaving school prom? She will want to go, so you should make the effort. Go to the prom, and there will be plenty of time to go bowling in the days after the prom!!! wow her with your charms. Go for it!!! have fun!!!

You asked her so you should follow through besides looking back you will regret it if you dont... prom can be so much fun you and your date and a bnch of friends go out to dinner together relax and have fun!

prom is all about the expirence..its something that you can look back on in 10 years. i personally didnt enjoy my prom but my seniro ball was a lot of fun. soo if your school has a ball goto that as well.
