I am 5'4 and I would say yeah 5'8 is kinda short. I would worry about wearing heels and stuff. You could be shorter...

Not as tall as Id prefer but its not too short. If I were single and if we clicked, it wouldnt even matter,in fact id probably start to love guys a little shorter.

For a grown man, it is just barely shorter than average. Nothing to be ashamed of.

well that depends for a girl no for a guy yes considering that the average male is about 6'0.

For a guy, yes. But then again, for a girl who's only 5'2" it would be fine. I'm 5'7" and my husband is 6'2".
