No, I haven`t ridden on a bus for many many years, and in the days when I did, I looked at the direction board at the front of the bus before I got on it, I knew exactly where it would stop.

Yes , on my trip to Ireland and Wales. Would just jump a bus to see which town it would go to. Stay at a B&B when I got there. It was a lot of fun.

Yeah. I used to do that when I was in junior high school. Didn't have any particular place to go, and was just curious. The buses then didn't have any route marked on the front, just a route number or even a color (as in "the orange route"). I'd have no idea where they were going, but would just ride around to kill time.

did it in bangkok lots of times, couldnt read Thai, just remembered wot number the bus was so i could get back to hotel
