As stated, Galley is the kitchen of a ship. There's also a term Scullery. meaning the dish-washing area normally adjacent to the cooking area.

Has someone combined the two or do you have a miss-spelling?

A ship has a 'galley' (the kitchen and 'dining area') ... but I've never heard of a ship having a 'gallery' or a 'gullery' ...

Are you, perhaps, thinking of the "galley"? That's the ship's kitchen.

I've never heard of a "Gullery"... are you sure you don't mean "Galley" which is a name for the kitchen.
