How often should you have your hair above you lip waxed before it stays gone forever? Or will it just keep growing back no matter what you do?

waxing can slow the growth of hair down slightly over time, but not always. It can also make the hair finer over time. Laser treatment (electrolysis) is the only permenant hair removal treatment. It can take a long time to complete though as you have to get each individual hair lasered at a time. And doing each hair once isnt always enough, because hair goes through 3 different stages as its growing, and if it happens to be in the ''sleeping'' phase then it will just grow back again. So its possible that each individual hair could take up to 3 treatments before its permenantly removed, and you have to wait 4 weeks between each session.

Depending on the thickness of your hair, it should get thinner and lighter with each waxing and maybe never come back after a year or two? Everyone is different though. If this helps at all I have thick, dark hair and I have been waxing my underarms for a little over a year and now the hair is fine and blonde.

waxing is not known to be a permanent hair removal process. I had my face waxed for over 10 years and still had hair. I went every 3 - 4 weeks for 10 years. It will keep growing back.

You would need to switch to either electrolysis or laser to permanently remove the hair. which works best on dark hair, light skin. it doesn't work especially well on blonde or other light hair.

I agree with the answers above. Laser hair removal is the only permanent solution. Me personally get facial hair wax ( eyebrows & upper lip ) whenever I go get my nails done, which is roughly about every 2 1/2 weeks.

Yep, facial wax and the different style of hair eliminating gadget that attracts it out from the roots will provide you with zits. very last 12 months I epilated my legs for the first (and easily!) time, and the zits were poor! My perfect suggestion is to keep squeezing the white stuff and keep it sparkling. do not itch! at the same time as the recent hair starts coming through you would get some ingrowns, so merely tease them out very gently with a pair of scissors and a magnifying reflect. And... next time... i comprehend they're declaring you ought to not do it, yet shaving consistently works perfect for me!

Over time it will come back more slowly, but there is no real "permanent" hair removal method out there. According to a comsmetic surgeon I spoke with the "most permanent" hair removal available now is laser, and still you have to continue sessions, but laser treatment leaves you hair free for the longest.

Sorry, it will keep growing back if you wax. The only thing that it can decrease it slowly is laser which is costly.
