Unify !!!

2007-03-30 09:30:58 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

religion has always been a force to unify a community, but we are now faced with the lack of a religion that we can all agree on so we are getting divided. I believe that it is important that we can create a unifying religion that really embraces all of the different aspects of spirituality and meets all our needs. I also think that in time we will naturally create it. There are a lot of people moving in that direction.

Religion unifies the religious and divides in regards to others. Religion can be a real community for some, but a curse to others.

it does both, in a sense we are facing a wordl where religion wil divide and unify in a bad way, i am not against religion i just believe we have stretched hte power of religion to far and used it as a means to get people to go to that religion that is being used, take christianity as a fact since it broke away from what it used to, people now started using it as a means to get others to join them slavery, or Auschwits for that matter, i'm a protestant irish but i am also an independant too, and i will not support a religion that is used as a means of fear and power

Religion does neither. It is what people do with their religion that unifies or divides.

Divided. Look at how many religion wars we've got and still have.

It creates unity within the religion but that same unifying power creates division AMONG religions.

Both...always has and always will...I do have Christian Faith, and a lot of it, but it is not tagged to any "religion" per say....this works for some and not for others....one needs to find their own way concerning religion according to who they are as a person and what they believe

Religion, properly practiced, unifies.

Humans, seeking whatever tool to increase their power, divide.

divide. so many wars and conflicts are over religion. each religious group thinks their religion is the one that everyone should follow and they're willing to die and kill others to prove it.
