Hands down the Prestige...I absolutely loved it! The illusionist wasn't half as good as The Prestige.

The Illusionist, without a doubt. It was so well put together & such a fun escape! The Prestige had WAY better star power, but dragged on a little too long. I loved one-two punch ending of the Illusionist, whereas w/ the Prestige you're just left thinking ...ok? (and are expected to have not noticed the other christian bale all this time)

How can you compare the two?
"The prestige" is realy something amazing and during the movie you are on the edge of your chair wondering what will happen next and just guessing what realy happened. On the other hand, although I love Jesica Biel (more than I like Scarlet Johanson) and Edward Northon, I didn't even care for their characters. And the ending? Gee, was I supposed to say: "WOW!"? Because, I didn't! And, some of the things are not explained.
"The illusionist" was some ki9nd of bad illusion for me - bad movie, but "The prestige" was one of the most magical movies I've seen lately!

"Illusionist" is a good movie.
However, I like "The Prestige" a little bit more.
Nonetheless, I would recommend both movies.
