put their question to a vote instead of taking the time to pick an answer?

I have an answer to my own question, sometimes there really isn't an answer that the asker could appreciate, sometimes lack of time to decide, and sometimes (like now) there are so many to chose from you feel compelled to leave it up to a vote.
Thanks a bunch everyone and have a Happy Easter if you celebrate it, if not have a good spring.

I think it's the way I usually get picked for best answer.

There have been a couple of times when all the answers were fantastic....I think when this happens...the Y?A community has a say in the vote...it's not because I'm too lazy to pick one...it's just too hard to pick one without others opinions to help make the decision

I think it's unfair-if people take the time to answer, the asker should at least bother reading the answers and choosing one-it's not that hard!

That is entirely up to them. I do that quite often when I can't decide on a best, because they're all great answers. Remember that you have your own personal feelings about it the same as EVERYBODY else. It would be an extremely boring world if we all thought the same.

Sometimes all the answers are right or they are all very good and it's hard to decide.
Like, who do u wish walked thru the door right now. A lot of people miss deceased relatives.

Doesn't really bother me. I vote on unresolved questions everyday (at a point a piece, it adds up) so it gives me something to do.

well when i do that it's mainly cause i got wrapped up in somthing and couldn't get back to the site
